Driven by the belief that nothing should stand in the way of a student’s dreams, we founded Scholar-Dollars to empower the next generation of changemakers. Our own journey has always been about thinking big and breaking boundaries.
Our vision is simple: to make scholarships accessible to all, and ensure that no student’s ambitions are limited by financial constraints.
With Scholar-Dollars, we are on a mission to redefine how students approach their futures—by turning the scholarship hunt into an AI enabled gamified experience.
Pallavi Nambiar
Founder
Former Capital Markets executive with significant experience leading end-to-end digital transformation and technical innovation initiatives at scale. MBA from Cornell University. Entrepreneurship and Innovation Fellowship at Cornell. Mother of two, loves philosophy, travel, food and pickleball!
Lina Lu
UX Designer
Lina Liu is a senior at Cornell University, majoring in Information Science with a concentration in UX Design. Passionate about user-centric design, she blends creativity with a sharp eye for detail. An avid Yelp reviewer with over 400+ reviews, Lina loves exploring local gems from boba shops to hidden eateries, getting her daily protein intake in, and chatting with strangers to ask about their funny stories. She’s also a fragrance enthusiast and a cat mom to Bunny.
Atharva Ekbote
Tech Designer Consultant
Designer passionate about UX/UI Design, Animation, and Storytelling creating data-driven, empathic, and delightful experiences. I have a BFA in Animation and Interactive Media with a concentration in Storytelling and Concept Development from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Malavika Kumaran
Product Manager
Product manager with extensive experience in the civic tech space, delivering user-centered digital solutions that are impactful and intuitive. I have an HBSc in Economics from the University of Toronto.
Eila Nambiar
Partnership Development
Eila Nambiar is a student at the George Washington University pursuing her degree in Computer Science and Finance. Drawing upon her time with Vertex Labs in Washington, DC and her experience in working closely with startups and startup growth, she manages partnership outreach and development for Scholar Dollars. In her free time, Eila enjoys cooking for her friends and family, and developing unique new recipes (don’t tell her if you don’t like them, negative criticism isn’t accepted on the food front for her!)
